Job Title: BA - Financial Analyst Experience: 2 to 5+ years Location: Pune Job Type: Full-Time
Job Brief
We are seeking a skilled BA - Financial Analyst for one of our prestigious clients with work experience in any of the reputed firms in Consulting in industries such as Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Renewable Energy, or Construction. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in financial modeling, market analysis, and business forecasting.
Responsibilities
- Interact with various departments (Strategy, Engineering, Projects, Legal, Project Finance, Operations) to gather requirements and produce detailed financial analyses and complex models.
- Gather market intelligence, monitor industry trends, and contribute to strategic decision-making.
- Maintain and develop cost roadmaps and financial models in collaboration with Projects, Engineering, Operations, and Finance teams.
- Support proposal, EOI, and RFP processes, including bid management.
- Develop and update financial models for existing and new business ventures, ensuring accuracy and industry best practices.
- Monitor and analyze financial trends within the company and the broader market.
Qualifications
- Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering (BE/B.Tech) and MBA from a Tier-1 institution.
- 2-5 years of experience in Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Renewable Energy, or Construction sectors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Exceptional skills in complex Excel modeling, including a strong grasp of the time value of money, IRR, and NPV concepts.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and correct modeling errors.
- Experience in Python and VBA preferred for modifying existing code and conducting simulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex models and analyses through detailed reports and charts.
