• 
  Ability to understand data warehouse and ETL processes, data coming into data warehouse from various system, data being processed and distribution to various downstream systems.
  Perform data validation and verification after the data loads. Performing data reconciliation and data quality checks
  Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions for data warehouse and ETL area.
  Helping Developers to understand the data project requirements (new in takes, data extraction logic, logic for new report creation based on data stored in data warehouse) to achieve the goal
  Conducting meetings and presentations with stake holders to share the ideas and findings on data analysis
  Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements, performing user acceptance testing
  Performing requirements analysis (got new data intakes in data warehouse, data extraction and reporting, change / enhancement to current ETL / data warehouse data loads) and preparing BRS, FRS/Non-FRS, User stories with appropriate amount on technical details (e.g., tables, query condition etc.). Breaking-down the user stories in small tasks to achieve the goals, monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of the tasks.
  Documenting and communicating efforts/ estimations with stake holders, team members and management.
  Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management
  Working closely with clients, technicians, and managerial staff.
  Help Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirement
  Serving as a liaison between stakeholders, users and IT team

Requirements

• 
  A bachelor’s/ Master's degree in business or related field or an MBA/ MCA
  A minimum of 6+ years of experience working on ETL / Data warehouse project as business analyst/ data analyst is must
  Hands-on experience on MSBI.
  Advanced technical skills (T-SQL queries, SSIS ETL processes)
  Insurance Domain experience is preferred
  Excellent documentation skills, fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations
  Excellent competency on Excel especially analysis features like pivot, vlookup etc.
