The ideal candidate will have solid knowledge of industrial processes, prior experience in B2B sales, and the ability to build strong relationships with maintenance and procurement teams in manufacturing facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Promote and sell industrial machine oils, lubricants, and related products to factories, workshops, and distributors
Identify new sales opportunities and generate leads through cold calls, field visits, and networking
Build and maintain relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business
Provide product demonstrations and technical support to clients
Understand customer lubrication requirements and recommend suitable products
Negotiate prices, delivery terms, and contracts with clients
Achieve assigned sales targets and report performance metrics regularly
Maintain accurate records of sales activities using CRM tools
Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments
Attend trade fairs, exhibitions, and training programs as required
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or any relevant field
1-4 years of experience in industrial lubricant or chemical sales
Good understanding of industrial machinery and lubrication needs
Excellent communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently and travel as needed
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
Preferred:
Experience working with lubricant brands like Castrol, Shell, Mobil, HPCL, IOCL, or similar
Knowledge of metalworking fluids, hydraulic oils, gear oils, and greases
