About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated
Business Development Executive (BDE)
with a strong B2B sales orientation to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for lead generation and field sales in the education sector, specifically targeting colleges and institutions. Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in
Medical Representative (MR)
roles or a background in
Life Sciences
.
Key Responsibilities:
Travel to colleges and academic institutions with the Sales Manager to pitch our products/services
Generate qualified leads through field visits, cold calls, campus presentations, and follow-ups
Identify potential business opportunities and initiate client engagement
Maintain a database of leads, contacts, and prospect interactions in CRM tools
Support the Manager in preparing proposals, presentations, and product demos
Maintain relationships with key decision-makers at colleges and institutions
Ensure achievement of monthly/quarterly sales targets
Collect market insights and competitor intelligence to refine sales strategies
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or related field preferred
Experience:
1-3 years in B2B Sales; prior experience as a Medical Representative is highly desirable
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Willingness to travel frequently across locations as per business needs
Self-motivated, target-driven, and customer-oriented
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools
Preferred Attributes:
Background in Life Sciences, Pharma, or Biotech
Familiarity with academic ecosystems and college outreach
Enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced, field-intensive sales environment
