IT Engineer - Hardware & Networking | Work Profile

Role Overview:

Responsible for installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer hardware, network systems, and IT infrastructure to ensure smooth and secure business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, scanners, and servers

Diagnose and resolve hardware issues (CPU, RAM, HDD/SSD, motherboard, power supply)

Set up and manage LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi networks

Configure routers, switches, firewalls, and access points

Perform network cabling, patch panel management, and rack setup

Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues

Manage IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, VLANs

Provide technical support to end users (onsite & remote)

Install and maintain Windows/Linux operating systems

Perform data backup, system updates, and preventive maintenance

Implement network security policies and access control

Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation

Coordinate with vendors for hardware repair and replacement

Technical Skills:

Hardware Troubleshooting & Assembly

Networking (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VPN)

Router & Switch Configuration (Cisco, MikroTik, etc.)

Windows Server & Active Directory (basic to intermediate)

Firewall & Network Security

OS Installation & Configuration

IT Support & Helpdesk Operations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,639.50 - ₹25,784.12 per month
