The B2B Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to drive awareness, lead generation, and sales growth within the building materials sector. This role requires a deep understanding of B2B marketing, channel dynamics, and the construction ecosystem--including architects, contractors, builders, and distributors.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Marketing Strategy & Planning
Develop and implement B2B marketing strategies aligned with overall business goals.
Identify key market segments (real estate developers, contractors, infrastructure firms, etc.) and design targeted campaigns.
Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor positioning, and customer needs.
2. Brand Management & Communication
Strengthen the brand presence across professional audiences (architects, engineers, project consultants).
Manage creation of marketing collateral, product literature, case studies, and technical datasheets.
Oversee digital presence including website, LinkedIn, and industry-specific platforms.
3. Lead Generation & Demand Creation
Plan and execute campaigns (digital, events, trade shows, and on-ground activations) to generate qualified leads.
Collaborate with sales teams to ensure smooth lead handover and track conversion metrics.
Implement marketing automation and CRM tools to monitor campaign ROI.
4. Channel & Partner Marketing
Develop co-marketing initiatives with distributors, dealers, and channel partners.
Support channel expansion through promotional programs, training, and incentive schemes.
Build marketing toolkits and sales enablement content for partners.
5. Product & Technical Marketing
Work closely with product and R&D teams to communicate value propositions and technical differentiators.
Create content for product launches, webinars, and specification documents.
Gather customer and market feedback to inform product development.
6. Events & Trade Shows
Plan and manage participation in industry exhibitions, seminars, and networking events.
Coordinate sponsorships and presentations to position the brand as a thought leader.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
MBA/PGDM in Marketing or equivalent.
Experience:
6-10 years in B2B marketing, preferably in
building materials, construction, or industrial products
.
Proven track record in campaign management, digital marketing, and lead generation.
Strong understanding of the construction value chain and decision-making ecosystem.
Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills.
Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and digital marketing tools (Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, etc.).
