Job Description

Job Purpose

To safely and efficiently deliver cakes and bakery products to customers, ensuring timely delivery, proper handling, and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

A. Delivery Operations

Deliver cakes, pastries, and bakery products to customer locations within assigned routes. Ensure timely, accurate, and safe delivery of fragile items (especially cakes). Verify customer order details before dispatch and collect signatures when required. Use maps or GPS navigation for accurate route planning.

B. Product Handling

Handle all cake boxes carefully to avoid damage during travel. Maintain temperature and hygiene standards while carrying food items. Report any product damage, delay, or delivery issues immediately to the outlet manager.

C. Customer Service

Greet customers politely and ensure a pleasant delivery experience. Maintain professional behavior at customer locations. Collect cash or digital payment confirmations when required. Resolve basic customer queries and escalate issues appropriately.

D. Vehicle Maintenance & Compliance

Ensure the delivery bike is clean, serviced, and in good working condition. Follow traffic rules and safety guidelines at all times. Maintain fuel logs and submit delivery records daily. Report any vehicle problems immediately.

E. Support to Outlet

Assist in packing orders during rush hours. Help with store-related tasks such as stock movement when there are no deliveries. Maintain clean delivery bags and uniforms.

3. Skills & Qualifications

Valid two& four wheeler driving license (Mandatory). Basic communication skills Ability to read delivery addresses and use mobile apps (Google Maps). Previous delivery experience preferred, but not mandatory.
