Job description B2B Channel Sales Executive Department: Sales Reporting to: Zonal Manager - B2B Channel Sales, DGM A B2B (Business-to-Business) Channel Sales Executive is responsible for driving sales and revenue growth through various channels in a business-to-business setting. They play a critical role in establishing and maintaining partnerships with distributors, resellers, dealers, and other channel partners to ensure the company\'s products or services reach a broader customer base. This role involves a mix of sales strategy development, relationship management, and achieving sales targets. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Channel Partner Management: Identify potential channel partners, establish new partnerships, and nurture existing ones. Regularly communicate with partners to provide updates, training, and support to drive sales.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to devise effective strategies for channel sales growth. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify new opportunities.
  • Sales Target Achievement: Set and meet sales targets for channel partners. Monitor partner performance and take necessary actions to ensure sales goals are met or exceeded.
  • Product/Service Knowledge: Thoroughly understand the company\'s products or services and effectively communicate their benefits to channel partners. Provide training and resources to help partners sell more effectively.
  • Negotiations and Deal Closures: Participate in negotiations with channel partners to establish mutually beneficial agreements. Ensure contract terms and conditions align with the company\'s objectives.
  • Marketing Support: Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional materials, campaigns, and incentives for channel partners to boost sales and market presence.
  • Market Analysis: Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback. Use this information to adapt sales strategies and suggest product/service improvements.
  • Performance Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs), to track channel partner performance and present insights to management.
Qualifications:
  • Education: A bachelor\'s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field is typically required. Relevant certifications in sales or channel management are advantageous.
  • Sales Experience: Prior experience in B2B sales or channel management is essential, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the specific industry or market in which the company operates is beneficial. Knowledge of competitor products and strategies is advantageous.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are vital for effective collaboration with channel partners and internal teams.
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation abilities to establish and manage partnerships with channel partners, including contract negotiations and conflict resolution.
  • Analytical Skills: The ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and performance metrics to make informed decisions and suggest improvements.
  • Relationship Building: Adept at building and maintaining strong relationships with channel partners, understanding their needs, and providing necessary support.
  • Time Management: Capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to adapt to changing market conditions and effectively respond to unexpected challenges.
  • Results-Driven: A proactive and results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and surpassing sales targets.
