We are looking for a skilled

Azure Security Engineer

to design, implement, and manage security controls across Microsoft Azure environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Azure security services, cloud governance, threat protection, and incident response, ensuring secure and compliant cloud infrastructure for enterprise workloads.

Key Responsibilities

------------------------

Design, implement, and manage security solutions within

Microsoft Azure

environments. Configure and monitor Azure security services including

Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Azure Sentinel (SIEM), Azure Policy, and Azure Monitor

. Implement identity and access management using

Azure AD (Entra ID)

, RBAC, Conditional Access, and MFA. Secure Azure networking components such as

NSGs, Azure Firewall, Application Gateway, and WAF

. Perform security assessments, vulnerability management, and risk analysis for Azure workloads. Monitor, investigate, and respond to cloud security incidents and alerts. Ensure compliance with security standards and frameworks such as

NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Benchmarks

, and organizational policies. Collaborate with cloud architects, DevOps, and SOC teams to embed security best practices. Develop and maintain security documentation, playbooks, and standard operating procedures. Stay updated with emerging Azure security features, threats, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong hands-on experience securing

Microsoft Azure

environments. Experience with

Azure Sentinel (SIEM)

,

Defender for Cloud

, and log analytics. Solid understanding of

Azure AD (Entra ID)

, identity governance, RBAC, and Conditional Access. Knowledge of Azure networking and security controls (NSGs, Firewall, WAF). Experience with vulnerability management and security posture management. Understanding of cloud security concepts, zero trust architecture, and shared responsibility model. Good knowledge of

Windows and Linux

operating systems. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Azure security certifications such as:

AZ-500: Microsoft Azure Security Technologies

Microsoft Certified:

Security Operations Analyst (SC-200)

Experience with scripting or automation (PowerShell, Azure CLI). Exposure to DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipeline security.
