MBP Conversion services enables the conversion of core banking systems to FIS\xe2\x80\x99s Modern Banking Platform for some of the world\xe2\x80\x99s largest financial institutions. We are looking for talented individuals who want to join a dynamic, global team who are building the next generation of conversion tooling. The successful candidate will bring an agile, proactive and design led approach to ETL platform development and administration. They will be able to apply solid data analysis and problem-solving skills to all domains. They will be active contributors to an ongoing platform roadmap, utilising experience to bring new features and concepts to life while adding value to our customer base.

What you will be doing:

• Leverage a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in RedHat OpenShift, Docker, and Kubernetes Administration to architect, build, and maintain scalable containerized solution and MBP Conversion Platform (all components) preferably on MSFT Azure.
• Drive the onboarding process of projects onto the OpenShift platform, ensuring seamless authentication, role management, and certificate administration, particularly in relation to IBM\xe2\x80\x99s CP4D tooling suite.
• Demonstrate proficiency in OpenShift capacity and availability management to guarantee the platform\'s stability and reliability.
• Design, implement, and manage cloud-native architectures, adhering to best practices and industry standards in support of the MBP Conversion Services platform.
• Configure and maintain containerised/docker-based environments for optimal performance.
• Showcase a deep understanding of networking and infrastructure architecture to ensure smooth communication and connectivity within the environment related source to target topologies.
• Apply your experience in managing various cloud environments to enhance the efficiency and scalability of our solutions.
• Utilize your familiarity with Windows and Linux systems to troubleshoot and maintain system health effectively.
• Implement CI/CD tools for both .NET and Java applications to enable seamless deployment pipelines.
• Leverage automation to streamline processes and enhance the efficiency of system management.
• Monitor the performance of systems, swiftly identifying and resolving any issues that may arise.
• Preferred Certifications: CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator), Red Hat OpenShift Administration.
• Be willing to learn and cross train to support/administer all components within the MBP Conversion Services platform and ecosystem.

What you bring:

• 5+ year experience working on Linux and Azure/Cloud.
• Hands on experience on deploying or supporting databases on Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, IBM, Google).
• Strong working knowledge of Container technologies/platform (Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift).
• Some experience with Big Data and Hadoop software stack is a plus.
• Experience and knowledge of IBM CloudPak for Data and other related IBM Data & AI technologies an advantage.

• Strong active listening skills and excellent written and

oral communications skills. * This role will require working a shifted work week pattern (covering 2 shifts, 19*5) plus some weekends (during live events).
