Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, plan, and execute server and database migration strategies to Azure cloud platform

• Assess existing infrastructure and recommend migration approaches

• Perform lift-and-shift or re-architecture as required for seamless migration

• Monitor migration progress and resolve issues proactively

• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth transition

• Optimize cloud resources for cost, performance, and security

• Maintain documentation of migration processes and configurations

• Provide post-migration support and troubleshooting

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in Azure cloud services, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS

• Hands-on experience in migrating servers (Windows/Linux) and databases (SQL Server, Azure SQL, etc.)

• Strong understanding of networking, security, and compliance standards in Azure

• Knowledge of Azure Migrate, Azure Data Factory, and related tools

• Familiarity with PowerShell, Azure CLI, and automation scripting

• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

• Relevant certifications (Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, etc.) are a plus

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

• 3+ years of experience in cloud migration projects
