About the Role
ASYVA INFOTECH LLP is looking for a skilled
Azure Databricks Engineer
to join our growing data engineering team.
You'll work with a global client base to build scalable, cloud-native data pipelines and analytics solutions across Azure & Databricks environments.
This is a
long-term contract role
where you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and optimize modern data architectures.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain
ETL/ELT pipelines
using
Databricks (PySpark, SQL, Python)
.
Implement and optimize
data workflows
leveraging Azure services --
Data Factory, Data Lake, Synapse, Key Vault, Event Hub, Functions, Logic Apps
.
Work on
data modeling
(Bronze-Silver-Gold architecture) and performance tuning of Spark jobs.
Collaborate with data analysts and Power BI developers to enable
reporting & insight generation
.
Integrate and automate deployments using
CI/CD pipelines
(Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions).
Ensure
data quality, governance, and security
across environments.
Document technical processes and participate in code reviews & agile ceremonies.
Required Skills & Experience
3 + years
of hands-on experience in
Azure Databricks / PySpark / Data Engineering
.
Strong in
Python, PySpark, SQL / PLSQL
with performance optimization experience.
Experience with
Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage, Synapse Analytics
, and other Azure data services.
Familiarity with
CI/CD tools
(Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) and infrastructure as code concepts.
Exposure to
Power BI
and understanding of data modeling for reporting solutions.
Solid understanding of
ETL frameworks, Delta Lake concepts, and Spark architecture
.
Strong analytical thinking, debugging, and communication skills.
Good to Have
Knowledge of
Data Vault 2.0, dbt, Snowflake, or Apache Airflow
.
Experience with
Azure Functions / Event Driven Architectures
.
Familiarity with
DevOps best practices
and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
