The Data Architect & Integration Specialist will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing data integration solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem. The role will focus on integrating data from CRM systems to data warehouses, supporting Order-to-Cash processes, and enabling advanced analytics and automation. FTE/Contractor, expected overlap in EST timezone.
Key Responsibilities
Data Integration Architecture
Design and implement robust data integration solutions using Microsoft technologies (e.g., Azure Data Factory, SQL Server, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric).
Architect and manage data pipelines to integrate CRM data into enterprise data warehouses.
Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across integrated systems.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Support integration of SAP data into Microsoft Fabric for advanced analytics and reporting.
Build and optimize data flows for ERP modernization initiatives (transitioning legacy ERP to SAP or Oracle).
Enterprise Data Management
Develop and maintain enterprise data models supporting Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay processes.
Implement best practices for data governance, metadata management, and master data management.
Enable unified search and reporting across SharePoint, email, and file servers using AI-powered assistants.
Automation & Productivity
Leverage Microsoft suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and generative AI tools for document automation, email triage, and smart content summarization.
Drive productivity improvements through automation of manual data handling and reporting tasks.
Collaboration & Leadership
Work closely with cross-functional teams (business, IT, external partners) to deliver integration solutions.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior data engineers and analysts.
Participate in client discussions to capture requirements and present architectural solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience in data architecture and integration within the Microsoft technology stack (Azure, SQL Server, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric).
Hands-on expertise in designing and managing data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehousing solutions.
Experience with AI-powered productivity tools and automation in the Microsoft suite.
Familiarity with enterprise data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a global, cross-functional team.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences industry data integration projects.
Knowledge of NLP use cases and advanced analytics in Microsoft Fabric.
