Azure Operations Engineer (Data Platform / Databricks / DevOps) :
We are seeking an Azure Operations Engineer to manage and optimize our Azure-based Data Engineering platform powered by Databricks. The role involves maintaining data pipelines, implementing CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure using Terraform/ARM, monitoring system performance, and enforcing security and compliance best practices. You will collaborate closely with DevOps, Data, and Security teams to ensure the platform is reliable, scalable, and secure.
Primary Skills:
Strong expertise in Azure cloud services Networking, Compute, Storage, App Services, Azure Functions, Key Vault, SQL Database, Cosmos DB, Logic Apps.
Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Terraform/ARM templates, and CI/CD automation.
Experience managing and supporting Databricks, Azure Data Lake, Synapse, and Key Vault.
Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, or Python scripting for automation and monitoring.
Knowledge of Azure Monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Prometheus).
Understanding of IAM, RBAC, Security Audits, and Network Security (NSGs, Firewalls, VPNs).
Preferred / Nice-to-Have:
Experience with Databricks Security Analysis Tool (SAT), Unity Catalog, and data governance.
Familiarity with MLOps pipelines and cost optimization strategies in Azure.
