We are looking for a seasoned azure cloud data engineer to




develop curated data pipeline to load, transform, egress the data on cloud.




help us build state of the art solutions that underpin M&S surveillance models and alert generation using cutting edge technologies like Scala, Spark, Databricks, Azure Data Lake, Airflow.




demonstrate superior analytical and problem-solving skills




demonstrate design skills and should have various design patterns knowledge




demonstrate superior collaboration skills in working closely with other development, testing and implementation teams to roll-out important regulatory and business improvement programs

Your team

You will be a key member of a young and expanding team that is part of the Compliance Technology function. We are a small friendly bunch who take pride in the quality of work that we do. As a team, we provide AI based solutions on top of a big data platform, working closely with peers from the business led data science team, as well as other engineering teams.

Your expertise

have a degree level education; preferably Computer Science (Bachelor or Master's degree)




have 13+ years of hands-on design and development experience in several of the relevant technology areas (Scala, Azure Data Lake, Apache Spark, Airflow, Oracle/Postgres etc.)




strong coding skills in Scala, Spark (must have) with ETL paradigms understanding




have Agile, Test Driven Development and DevOps practices part of your DNA




experience in developing the application using various design patterns




experience in working in a MS Azure (added advantage)




experience in designing the solution from scratch




experience in working with global team




experience in coding skills in python is an added advantage




demonstrate strong communication skills, both to senior management and teams




background in IB or Finance domain with good understanding of finance principles (added advantage)




strong analytical and problem solving skills




collaborative approach towards problem solving, working closely with other colleagues in the global team and sensitive towards diversity
