Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly experienced

Azure API Apps Developer

to design, develop, and manage scalable, secure, and high-performance APIs on the

Microsoft Azure platform

. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in

API design, integration, and cloud-native application development

, along with strong experience in enterprise-scale Azure solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, deploy, and manage

Azure API Apps

and

RESTful services

. Build and maintain integrations using

Azure API Management (APIM)

. Develop and maintain

serverless and microservices-based architectures

using Azure services. Ensure high availability, performance, security, and scalability of APIs. Implement authentication and authorization using

Azure AD, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect

. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize API performance and reliability. Collaborate with architects, DevOps, and application teams on solution design. Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architecture decisions. Ensure compliance with security, governance, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

11-14 years of overall IT experience with strong focus on

Azure API development

. Extensive hands-on experience with:

Azure API Apps

Azure API Management (APIM)

RESTful API design & development

Strong experience with

.NET / C#

or equivalent backend technologies. Experience with

Azure Functions, App Services, Logic Apps

. Solid understanding of

microservices architecture

and integration patterns. Hands-on experience with

Azure DevOps / CI-CD pipelines

. Strong knowledge of

security best practices

for APIs.

Good to Have:

Experience with

containerization

(Docker, Kubernetes/AKS). Knowledge of

event-driven architecture

(Service Bus, Event Grid). Exposure to

performance monitoring

tools like Application Insights.

Education:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
