The Azure Administrator is responsible for managing, monitoring, and maintaining Microsoft Azure cloud services and infrastructure. The role involves ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability of Azure-based systems, while supporting deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and monitor all Azure cloud resources including virtual machines, networks, storage accounts, and databases.
Implement, configure, and maintain Azure Active Directory (AAD), user roles, and access control.
Create and manage resource groups, virtual networks, and subnets for optimal cloud architecture.
Handle backup, disaster recovery, and high availability configurations using Azure Backup and Site Recovery.
Monitor system performance and implement cost-optimization strategies.
Deploy and manage Azure services such as App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Azure Functions.
Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and Azure best practices.
Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments.
Maintain Azure subscriptions and resource tagging for cost tracking and governance.
Troubleshoot and resolve Azure-related incidents and provide 24/7 support as required.
