Role Overview:



To support the UK Compliance Director and Senior Manager in assisting the ongoing improvementabout:blank and minimization of regulatory risk. Awareness of and practical experience in the areas of AML / Investment Business / Practice Assurance / Client Money Regulations pre requisite with good working knowledge of FCA regulations ideal.

Key Responsibilities will include:


Respond to queries in the compliance ticketing system. Work with the wider compliance team and as directed by compliance senior manager, compliance manager or AML manager Maintain and update internal registers Update compliance policies, procedures, guidance and the intranet. Undertake monitoring reviews and checks as directed to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards Support projects which involve conducting review of existing clients to ensure AML information is up to date, risk assessments are in place and all information on HNW (High Net Worth Clients) has been obtained from service lines. Support HNW (High Net Worth) and targeted risk Projects Provide support to our people on compliance-related matters. Support and complete reporting and communications to regulatory bodies. Support monitoring and compliance with CPD requirements of the ICAEW Support practice assurance processes such as F&P (Fit & Proper) Support the oversight of client money accounts Data gathering for Group Internal Audit - Collecting required documentation to help the group's audit function check for compliance issues. Support service lines with quality, compliance and technical matters Support preparation of monthly group reporting Liaising with Group Technical team on compliance matters Keep up to date with changes in legislation. Ad hoc project work

Skills & experience

Would need a minimum of 2 year of experience in risk management, compliance, legal or a related area Semi-Qualified CA or any equivalent degree. Experience in FCA/ACCA regulated firm is desirable. Has proven experience in a Risk & Compliance support role. An understanding of regulatory body and their requirements. Has excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal skills. Self-motivated with ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines. Strong communication to support the business. Ability to communicate and work with stakeholders at all levels of the business including Team peers. Comfortable in a data enabled environment.
