The Ayurvedic Therapy Centre Manager is a full-time, hands-on clinical and operational leader responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth, efficient functioning of the treatment center. The role involves close coordination with therapists, consultants, pharmacy, patients, and support staff. The manager will oversee day-to-day operations, uphold traditional Ayurvedic standards, drive patient satisfaction, and continuously improve service delivery systems.
Key Responsibilities
1. Therapy Operations & Patient Care
Supervise and coordinate all therapy activities and schedules.
Ensure proper implementation of consultants' treatment protocols.
Monitor patient vitals and readiness prior to therapy sessions.
Collect structured post-treatment feedback and act on concerns or suggestions.
Personally attend to high-need patients to ensure an empathetic, patient-centric experience.
2. Therapist Training & Supervision
Conduct regular training sessions on therapy techniques, protocols, communication, hygiene, and patient handling.
Maintain performance records and offer timely feedback and corrective action.
Enforce adherence to SOPs, hygiene protocols, and daily operational checklists.
3. Consultant Coordination
Facilitate effective communication between therapists and consulting physicians.
Ensure accurate and timely execution of prescriptions and treatment orders.
Coordinate inpatient and outpatient rounds, reviews, and follow-ups.
4. Pharmacy & Medicine Handling
Oversee internal pharmacy operations and ensure accurate medicine dispensing.
Supervise preparation of therapeutic materials (oils, decoctions, kashayams).
Maintain accurate stock records, conduct expiry audits, and manage timely procurement.
Ensure correct dispatch of internal medicines for both IP and OP patients.
5. Administrative Oversight
Maintain therapy logs, incident reports, and patient feedback documentation.
Conduct regular audits of therapy rooms, cleanliness, equipment functionality, and stock supplies.
Liaise with housekeeping and facility teams for overall centre maintenance.
6. Patient Communication & Counselling
Serve as the primary contact for therapy-related queries and patient concerns.
Explain treatment procedures, preparation instructions, and lifestyle guidance.
Provide emotional support and ensure a reassuring presence throughout the patient's treatment journey.
