Job Overview



we are seeking a authentic and passionative

Aurvedic Staff

plays a key role in delivering authentic Ayurvedic therapies and supporting holistic patient care within our ayurvedic hospital. This position involves performing a wide range of traditional treatments, assisting physicians, guiding patients through therapy processes, and maintaining the highest standards of hygiene, safety, and compassion.

The therapist also supports the preparation and proper use of Ayurvedic medicines as recommended by the medical team, helping ensure effective and ethical practice in line with hospital protocols.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:



Clinical & Therapy Responsibilities:



Perform Ayurvedic treatments such as Abhyanga, Shirodhara, Panchakarma procedures, Kizhi, Nasya, Basti, Lepam, steam and detox therapies, etc. Prepare treatment rooms, oils, herbs, and equipment prior to each session. Follow physician prescriptions accurately for therapy plans and medicine dosage guidance. Monitor patients during treatments and report any discomfort, reactions, or concerns to the doctor immediately. Educate patients on therapy benefits, after-care instructions, diet, and lifestyle recommendations based on guidance from the physician.

Support in Medicine Preparation & Handling:



Assist in basic pre-processing of herbal ingredients (washing, drying, grinding, storage). Label and organize prepared medicines as per hospital standards. Ensure accurate documentation of medicines used for each patient.

Patient Care & Communication:



Maintain a calm, respectful, and supportive environment.

Provide patient-friendly explanations of treatment processes.

Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards at all times.


Operational & Administrative Responsibilities:



Maintain therapy records and daily treatment logs. Ensure cleanliness and sanitization of therapy rooms and equipment. Assist in inventory management of oils, herbs, linens, and supplies. Participate in training programs and continuously enhance knowledge of Ayurveda.

Qualifications and Requirements:



Diploma/Certificate in Ayurvedic Therapy, Panchakarma Therapy, or related discipline (mandatory). Minimum 1-3 years of experience in an Ayurvedic hospital/clinic preferred (freshers may also apply if trained). Knowledge of classical Ayurvedic therapies and treatment protocols. Basic understanding of human anatomy and hygiene standards. Ability to follow medical instructions accurately and work in a team environment. Good communication skills, empathy, and patient-handling ability. Physically fit and able to perform therapy routines safely.
