Provide panchakarma services to guests using props and/or products (cross massages are not allowed). Provide the treatments at patient rooms if required, only upon the confirmation from the Doctor/Medical Supervisor.
Assess guest needs and inquire about contraindications (e.g., allergies, high blood pressure, and pregnancy) before beginning service. Also frequently check with guest to promote comfort, safety and security throughout service.
Clean, maintain, and sterilize tools after each treatment. Maintain cleanliness of workstation and/or treatment room throughout shift, dispose of trash and dirty linens, and secure supplies and equipment at the end of each shift.
Monitor and stick to time schedule throughout the day. Handle inappropriate guest behavior by following Milife standard operating procedures for Inappropriate conduct for guests and therapists, leading up to and including stopping a treatment or service and informing Doctor/Supervisor.
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the HOD/Supervisor immediately.
Manage a variety of traditional therapies, including massages, herbal treatments.
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests' service needs; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.
Should have some basic knowledge about the main procedure such as, (Abhyangam, Agni Karmam, Dhanyamladhara, Elakizhi, Greevavasthi, Januvasthi, Kadikizhi, Kadivasthi, Kashayadhara, Kashayavasthi, Ksheeradhara, Leech Therapy, Matravasthi, Muttakizhi, Narangakizhi, Njavarakizhi, Pizhichil, Podikizhi, Rakthamoksham, Rookshavasthi, Siravyadham, Sirodhara, Sirovasti, Sitz Bath, Spinal Bath, Steam, Takradhara, Udwarthanam, Urovasthi, Uttaravasthi) and the minor procedures such as (Anjanam, Aschotanam, Bidalakam, Dhoomapanam, Dhoopanam, Eyemassage, Karnadhoopanam, Karnamoolaabhyangam, Karnapichu, Karnapooranam , Lepanam, Mamsopanaham, Mughabhyangam, Nasapichu, Nasyam, Netrakshalanam, Pichu, Pratisaranam, Sekam, Tarpanam, Tazhi, Thalam, Upanaham, Vesavaram, Vrana Dhoopanam, Yoniabhyangam, Yonikshalanam, Yonipichu).
Performs daily pancha karma and spa therapies as scheduled which includes preparing the therapy room with necessary equipment, oils, herbs, etc., performing the therapies as well as cleaning and setting up the room for the next therapy.
End to End patient care before, during and after therapies in the center of Panchakarma. Assist in procedures in supervision and as told by Doctor/Medical Supervisor.
Monitor and complete treatment plans as per the schedule provided.
Perform any other duties/responsibilities delegated by the management
Education & Experience
Diploma or Certificate Courses in Ayurveda Therapy
Duration: 6 months to 2 years
EXP : 2 or 3 year
Examples: Diploma in Panchakarma Therapy, Certificate in Ayurvedic Massage Therapy
