: Ayurveda Practitioner (Holistic Wellness & Preventive Health)

Job Title: Ayurveda Practitioner / Corporate Wellness Physician (BAMS)

Location: Mount Abu, Rajasthan (Project Site & Corporate Office)

Department: Human Resources & Administration / Employee Wellness & Health

Reports To: Head of Administration / HR Manager

Type: Full-Time

Role Summary

The Ayurveda Practitioner is responsible for establishing and managing a holistic wellness program based on Ayurvedic principles for all personnel at the Mount Abu project site and corporate facilities. This role is critical in promoting personalized health, enhancing immunity, mitigating the effects of occupational stress and physical strain, and integrating natural methods for preventive healthcare.

Key Responsibilities1. Ayurvedic Consultation and Treatment

Holistic Assessment:

Conduct detailed consultations using traditional methods (e.g., Nadi Pariksha, Prakriti assessment) to understand the constitutional makeup and imbalance (Vikriti*) of employees.

Treatment Planning:

Formulate personalized, evidence-based Ayurvedic treatment plans utilizing herbal formulations, natural remedies, dietary recommendations, and lifestyle changes (Dinacharya and Ritucharya*).

Minor Therapy:

Administer and supervise minor Ayurvedic therapies (e.g., local Lepa, Kati Vasti for back pain, Nasyafor respiratory issues) to address common occupational ailments.

Integration:

Collaborate with local healthcare providers to ensure Ayurvedic care complements conventional treatments when necessary.
2. Preventive Health and Lifestyle Management

Dosha Balancing for Occupation:

Design interventions specifically to balance Doshas(Vata, Pitta, Kapha) that are typically aggravated by construction site stress (Vata/Pitta) and sedentary corporate work (Kapha/Vata).

Seasonal Regimens:

Implement and educate employees on

tailored to the climate of Mount Abu and Rajasthan to prevent seasonal illnesses and maintain optimal health.

Mind-Body Practices:

Lead or coordinate group sessions on foundational Yoga,

Pranayama (breathing exercises)

, and basic meditation techniques to promote mental clarity and reduce stress.

Dietary Guidance:

Provide expert advice on food as medicine, helping employees make informed choices regarding their diet based on their Prakritiand current health status.
3. Occupational Health and Stress Mitigation

Fatigue Management:

Develop natural protocols to combat work-related fatigue, insomnia, and burnout, which are common across both physically demanding and administrative roles.

Musculoskeletal Support:

Provide Ayurvedic recommendations (e.g., herbal oils, mild svedanatreatments) for the relief and prevention of common work-related back, neck, and joint pain.

Detoxification Support:

Advise on gentle detox routines to support the health of employees who may be exposed to dust, pollutants, or other environmental stressors on the project site.
4. Inventory, Documentation, and Administration

Record Keeping:

Maintain meticulous, confidential records of consultations, Prakritiassessments, treatment plans, and outcomes, adhering strictly to patient privacy standards.

Pharmacy Management:

Manage the inventory, storage, and quality assurance of all herbal medicines, oils, and Ayurvedic preparations used on-site.

Reporting:

Track and analyze the utilization of Ayurvedic services, common ailments treated, and the overall impact on employee wellness and absenteeism for management reporting.
Required Qualifications & Experience

Education:

Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) is mandatory. A Master's Degree (MD/MS) in a specialized branch of Ayurveda is highly desirable.

Licensure:

Valid and current registration with the State/Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM) or equivalent regulatory body.

Experience:

Minimum of 3-5 years of post-qualification clinical practice. Preference for experience in corporate health, wellness retreats, or integrating Ayurveda into a multi-disciplinary health environment.

Clinical Skills:

Proven expertise in Prakriti and Vikriti assessment, Nadi Pariksha, and effective application of herbal pharmacology (Dravya Guna*).

Language:

Fluency in Hindi and English is essential. Proficiency in Sanskrit for classical text reference is a bonus.
