Educating patients: Providing information about drugs, side effects, dosage, and storage
Advising healthcare workers: Recommending medications, dosages, and interactions to treat health problems
Monitoring drug therapies: Ensuring that medications don't interact with other medications a patient is taking
Providing other health advice: Helping patients with immunizations and other health concerns
