Ayurveda Doctor (3-5yrs exp, Mumbai)-Ghatkopar
As a practitioner for an Ayurveda clinic, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality
Ayurvedic healthcare treatment to patients (coming to the Ayurveda clinic) and ensuring
effective outcomes. You will be located at one of the company's clinics and treating patients.
We will be starting with treating patients suffering from Osteoarthritis.
We expect you to be compassionate, emphatic towards patients, explaining them clearly
and focussed towards curing them.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Evaluation:
Conduct thorough patient assessments looking at their medical history, doing
physical examinations and using Ayurvedic diagnostic techniques.
Explain the diagnosis and the required treatment in detail to the patient clearing
all their queries, concerns
Ayurvedic Treatment:
Administer Ayurvedic treatments, therapies, and dietary recommendations
ensuring effective outcome
Patient Education:
Educate patients on Ayurvedic principles, lifestyle modifications, and preventive
health measures.
Offer guidance on diet, exercise, and stress management in alignment with
Ayurvedic practices.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans,
progress notes, and follow-up recommendations.
Professional Development:
Stay informed about the latest developments in Ayurveda and related healthcare
fields.
Adhere to all relevant legal and ethical standards in Ayurvedic practice.
Ensure patient privacy and confidentiality.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) degree or equivalent from a
recognised institution.
Valid license to practice Ayurvedic medicine as per medical council.
Minimum of 3-4 years of clinical experience as an Ayurvedic physician treating patients
suffering from Osteoarthritis.
Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency in Ayurvedic treatment modalities
Compassion and empathy for patients
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Administrative skills and able to lead team of paramedical staff
Fully equipped to perform or supervise Panchakarma therapies
Conversant in Hindi, English, Marathi
Preferred Qualifications:
Postgraduate degree or specialization in Ayurveda.
Previous experience in a similar role in an Ayurveda clinic
Knowledge of Ayurvedic dietary and lifestyle counseling
