About the Role

We are looking for an 8+ year experienced

DevOps Lead

to manage and evolve our AWS-based infrastructure and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud-native architectures, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and system reliability. This role requires both

hands-on technical expertise

and

strategic leadership

to improve existing systems, establish best practices, and drive continuous improvement across development and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

Lead AWS Infrastructure Management:

Oversee and optimize AWS services including EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, CloudFront, Lambda, and networking components.

System Reliability & Performance:

Ensure uptime, scalability, and performance of critical applications and services through monitoring, automation, and proactive optimization.

CI/CD Pipeline Ownership:

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.

Automation & Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

Manage infrastructure using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK.

Security & Compliance:

Implement IAM policies, manage secrets securely, and enforce best practices around access, logging, and compliance.

Cost Optimization:

Regularly review AWS billing, identify cost inefficiencies, and recommend optimizations.

Leadership & Mentorship:

Provide technical direction to the DevOps team, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior engineers.

Continuous Improvement:

Evaluate existing setups, identify gaps, and suggest new tools, standards, or practices to improve scalability, reliability, and developer productivity.

Collaboration:

Work closely with developers, QA, and product teams to streamline release management and environment consistency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong expertise in

AWS cloud services

and

infrastructure design

. Proficiency in

Infrastructure as Code

(Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK). Experience with

CI/CD pipelines

and deployment automation. Knowledge of

containers and orchestration

(Docker, ECS, EKS, or Kubernetes). Proficiency in

Linux system administration

and

shell scripting

. Solid understanding of

networking

,

security

, and

monitoring

in AWS. Hands-on experience with

monitoring tools

(CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.). Familiarity with

GitOps

and

DevSecOps

practices. Strong problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to influence and drive technical decisions.

Pay: ?800,000.00 - ?1,600,000.00 per year
