Qualifications:

• Exp.: Total 8+ and Relevant: 5 Years
• Develop CI/CD workflows, modules in IAC, containers, YAML, Serverless Services, Cloud which are Secure and Re-useable and works independently on established patterns/services with KT.

Concepts:

• DevOps/Cloud -

• CI/CD Practices
• Programming Language (Java / DotNet / Python)
• Security Vulnerability Tools (SonarQube, Nexus, Prisma)
• Cloud Platform Services (AWS Or Azure)
• Good Knowledge
• Should have worked as Developer with any of Lang. - (Min. of 2 Years REX)
• Either Cloud AWS(Preffered) / Azure, Terraform

Scripting:

• Linux Commands and Shell/Bash Scripting

• Linux daily usage commands
• Automation scripts - Preferable

CI and CD tool:

• Github Actions or Azure DevOps or AWS Codebuild or Gitlab CI or Circle CI

• Build and Release Pipeline/ Pipeline scripting/ Multibranch pipeline
• Artifacts/Release/Deployment Gates - Overview
• Should have hands-on experience in Github Actions or Gitlab CI/Circle CI/ArgoCD/Octopus

Containers & Cloud:

• Docker or equivalent Container Runtime - Build,Ship,Run

• Virtualization vs Containerization
• maven, gradle, npm, yarn
• Creating images with Dockerfile/Multistage Builds/Docker Compose
• Docker Volumes / Networking - Overview
• Kubernetes or AKS or EKS or AWS ECS Fargate or Lambda

• Architecture of a EKS, ECS, Serverless Services of AWS.
• Best Practices for Serverless Services of AWS which includes NFRs
• S3, Other Storage Services & Security, NFRs.
• Should have good knowledge of EKS / ECS / Serverless Services
• Should have good knowledge on S3 and Storage Services.
• Should know also able to demostrate best practices for AWS Services.
• Min. of 2 Years REX

• Branching Strategies - Overview

IaaC:

• Ansible

• Playbooks, inventories, roles, variables, Troubleshooting
• Terraform / CloudFormation / ARM.

• Terraform workflow, implement and maintain state - remote backend
• Providers, provisioners, resource and data configuration, registry,
• usage of variables and outputs
• Good Knowledge in Terraform. (Min. of 2 Years REX)
• Rest of CloudFormation / ARM / Ansible are good to have.

Observability:

• Knowledge of Monitoring/SaaS Tools for APM, Infrastructure Monitoring

• Monitoring vs Observability (CloudWatch /ELK/ Prometheus / Grafana / Alerts)
• Telemetry Data/Golden Metrics
• Incidence management and root cause analysis
• Should have worked on any of the APM Tools.

Troubleshooting:

• Analyze Linux Logs, Logs
• Investigating Performance Issues
• Should be able to analyze Logs on both Unix, Linux & Performance issues.

Certification:

• Certifiactions on AWS
• AWS Solution Architecture - Associate
