. Key responsibilities include understanding business needs to create AWS network solutions, implementing cloud networking services, ensuring security best practices, and providing technical leadership for complex network issues. The role requires expertise in core networking concepts, AWS networking services, and a strong ability to collaborate with various teams.
Network Architect shall collaborate with program team in design, implementation and operations of secure connectivity per the use case.
Review and support Network Security which involves Firewall Configuration and Centralized Management, Firewall rules for packet inspection creation and review and Firewall network reachability troubleshooting .
Network Management which includes Mange DNS records, Manage DNS domains, Certificate creation and Centralized inventory management and IPAM support and management.
Understanding of DMZ & Remote Access to DMZ and Managing network gears eg. Firewalls, Routers, Switches
Key Responsibilities
Design and Implementation:
Create, develop, and deploy secure, resilient, and scalable network architectures using AWS services.
Security & Compliance:
Implement robust security measures, including identity and access controls and encryption, and ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices.
Cost Optimization:
Select the right AWS services to balance performance, cost, and scalability, working to optimize cloud expenditures.
Troubleshooting & Maintenance:
Monitor network performance, troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, and perform maintenance tasks to ensure high availability.
Collaboration & Leadership:
Work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and development teams to align network designs with business objectives and provide technical leadership.
Documentation:
Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including architecture diagrams and deployment plans.
Innovation:
Stay informed about emerging network technologies and best practices to support continuous improvement and innovation in the cloud environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Expertise:
Strong understanding of networking protocols (IP, DNS, ARP), routing, switching, and cloud networking best practices.
AWS Knowledge:
Hands-on experience with AWS networking services such as VPC, Route 53, Load Balancers, and Direct Connect.
Problem-Solving:
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve complex network issues.
Communication:
Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts and provide guidance to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
