Essential Job Functions:

• Firewall Management: Configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot AWS Cloud firewalls and VPNs; apply IOS updates and hotfixes; implement best practices and hardening measures.
• CSRvs & Network Architecture: Expertise in Cisco ASA, CSR routers, and AWS networking services (VPC, TGW, Direct Connect, SD-WAN, GWLB).
• Routing & Protocols: Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, HSRP/VRRP, and STP variants.
• Monitoring & Optimization: Use tools like CloudWatch, Security Hub, and NetOps for performance management; conduct audits and deep packet analysis.
• Automation & IaC: Familiarity with Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code for firewall provisioning and migration phases.

Qualifications:
Required Skills:

• AWS networking services (VPC, TGW, Direct Connect), AWS firewalls and CSRvs
• Cisco ASA Firewall, VPN , CSR routers, Infoblox, SD-WAN
• Routing protocols and redundancy mechanisms.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services: EC2, VPC, Subnets, Routing Tables, Security Groups, IAM, CloudFormation.
• Ability to design highly available solutions across multiple AZs and regions.
• Disaster recovery planning and multi-region strategies.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to multitask, manage time efficiently, and work in 24x7 support environments.
• Familiarity with ITIL framework and documentation best practices.
