We are currently seeking a AWS Cloud Architect to join our team in Bangalore, Karnataka (IN-KA), India (IN).

AWS Cloud Architect

NTT DATA Services currently seeks a senior Architect with experience in AWS Cloud Application, Cloud-based DevOps, and Microservice Architecture to join our team in Bangalore or Chennai or Noida, India.

Role Responsibilities:

• Experience in assessment, target cloud architecture definition, proof-of-concepts, migration, development and deployment of applications on Cloud.
• Understand and analyze client's internal and external systems and dependencies.
• Define architecture considerations for cloud-native development of applications based on API-First, Microservices, Serverless and 12-Factor application principles.
• Define architecture considerations for non-functional requirements including scalability, availability, security and performance.
• Define target architecture including all interfaces based on Cloud infrastructure components and Cloud-Native PaaS services.
• Work in close coordination with client's infrastructure operations teams to design solution for no single point of failure, geo-distributed requirements, automated failover and automated scaling.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Release Management and Incident Management teams to implement continuous improvement practices with a strong focus on automation.
• Document and share technical best practices and insights with engineering and the architect communities.

Requirements:

• Architecture: 10+ years of experience in architecting cloud solutions including experience in cloud-native and microservices architecture.
• Technical Skills: AWS, Java, Spring Boot, Quarkus, Terraform, RDBMS, NoSQL, REST API design.
• Cloud Services: At least 6 years of experience with using a broad range of cloud technologies and services preferably in AWS (Elastic Beanstalk, EKS, Lambda Function, CloudFormation, AWS CodePipeline) to develop and maintain cloud-based cloud solution with an emphasis on cloud best practices.
• Tools: Experience with agile toolset such as Atlassian JIRA, Atlassian Confluence, CI/CD toolset such as Atlassian Bitbucket, Atlassian Bamboo and monitoring tools such as AppDynamics and Splunk.
• Problem Solving: Problem-solving mentality leveraging internal and/or external resources, where and when needed, to do what's right for the customer, partner and for the organization (i.e., think through workarounds, evaluate risk of various deployment options, etc.)
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication

Qualifications:

• Four-year degree in Computer Science or similar field.
• 10+ years of overall experience in IT and 6+ years of experience in architecting cloud solutions.
• 5+ years of experience with using a broad range of cloud technologies such as AWS IaaS and PaaS, Lambda Functions.
• AWS Solutions Architect Certification is preferred.
• Excellent communication, strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
