Job Description

Intermediate Cloud DevOps Engineer responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing AWS cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. The role involves hands-on work in automation, containerization, and deployment orchestration to ensure secure, scalable, and reliable cloud environments. This position collaborates with developers, architects, and delivery managers to implement DevOps best practices and improve delivery efficiency. The DevOps Engineer contributes to infrastructure as code (IaC) implementation, environment monitoring, and continuous process enhancements across teams.

This role requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail to deploy, monitor, and maintain production systems while driving automation and reliability improvements.



Required Skills

. Implement, maintain, and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and cost efficiency.

. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.

. Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes/EKS.

. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.

. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize applications and infrastructure using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.

. Ensure security and compliance standards are followed in cloud deployments and DevOps practices (DevSecOps).

. Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth deployment, release, and rollback processes.

. Assist in automating repetitive operational tasks to improve efficiency and reduce errors.

. Participate in architecture and design discussions, providing insights from a DevOps and cloud operations perspective.

. Support production incidents, root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.

. Stay updated with emerging cloud services, DevOps tools, and best practices to recommend

improvements.



Desired Skills

6-7 years of IT experience with at least 3 years in AWS cloud and DevOps roles.

. Hands-on experience with AWS services: EC2, S3, Lambda, EKS, IAM, CloudFormation, VPC, RDS, etc.

. Proficiency with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, etc.

. Experience in containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes/EKS.

. Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).

. Strong understanding of application security, IAM policies, and DevSecOps practices.

. Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (CloudWatch, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana).

. Basic programming or scripting experience: Python, Bash, Go, or Node.js.

. Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodology.

. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
