Overview:

TRC India is looking for an AWS Administrator to be responsible for provisioning, managing, monitoring, and optimizing cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services. This role ensures secure, scalable, and highly available cloud environments that support application development, deployment, and operations.


Responsibilities:

Cloud Infrastructure Management

Deploy, configure, and maintain AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, Systems Manager, Secrets Manager, CloudWatch, and CloudTrail. Manage virtual networks, security groups, routing, and load balancers. Oversee backup, disaster recovery, and high availability strategies.

Security & Compliance

Implement IAM best practices, least privilege access, and role-based permissions. Monitor security posture using AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty, and CloudTrail. Ensure compliance with organizational and industry standards.

Monitoring & Optimization

Track system performance using CloudWatch and other monitoring tools. Optimize cost by analyzing usage patterns and implementing cost saving measures. Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues and perform root cause analysis.

Automation & DevOps Support

Automate infrastructure provisioning using CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CLI. Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows. Collaborate with developers to ensure smooth application releases.

Maintenance & Operations

Patch, update, and maintain cloud resources. Manage storage, databases, and compute resources. Provide on call support for critical cloud operations and systems.

Qualifications:

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong understanding of AWS core services and cloud architecture principles. Experience with Linux/Windows system administration. Proficiency with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell). Familiarity with networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP, VPN, and firewalls). Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and alerting tools. AWS certifications (e.g., AWS SysOps Administrator, Solutions Architect) are a plus.

Preferred Experience

Hands-on work with containerization (Docker, ECS, EKS). Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Exposure to DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CodePipeline). Understanding of cloud cost management and optimization.
