We have a structured approach where colleagues work at an onsite location on fixed, \'anchor\', days of the week, for a minimum of two days a week or more, as set by the business area (or nearest equivalent if working part-time hours). Introduction: This role will be focused on Governance and Controls area, within Governance and External Engagement COE. What will you be doing . Support initiatives, and drive delegated activities, to cultivate and maintain an effective control environment and framework for the management of funding and liquidity risks. . Drive and support activities related to the review and refresh of FLM owned standards, and standards that define a role for FLM. . Coordinate control assessments as part of the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) or other control assessment initiatives. . Drive and coordinate the annual refresh of FLM control procedures. . Coordinate control remediation activities, including monthly progress tracking meetings with issue and action owners, data management aspects, and other items related to risk / control frameworks. . Establish and maintain an effective network of stakeholders and partners across multiple locations and functions. . Update Governance Calendar and other items that may be required for managing / executing the book of work. What we\'re looking for: . Intellectually curious self-starter. . Skills that will help you in the role: . Experience in Governance and Controls around business process, Control assessments and process improvements. . Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. . Experience in funding and liquidity risk management. . Experience in Control assessments and process improvements. . Degree educated and/or a professional finance qualification e.g. CFA, ACCA, CIMA, ACA, FRM or local equivalents. . Strong analytical and problem solving skills. . A self-starter, driven and curious. . Experience working in a control function or in audit. . Experience working in a treasury function and / or in a bank or financial services institution. . Experience in any or multiple areas across Governance, Controls, Risk and Controls Self-Assessment, BCBS239, Data Management Standards (Critical Data and Lineage), SoX, Issue Management, Finance / Liquidity related Policy and Standards definition. . Experience in analytics and automation tools. . Experience in managing senior stakeholder groups, representing in Forums such as Controls Forum, Regulatory Forum, Standards Forum, and Risk Committees. . Experience in Programme Management.
