Hybrid Working Structured hybrid role: At Barclays, we offer a hybrid working experience that blends the positives of working alongside colleagues at our onsite locations, together with working from home. We have a structured approach where colleagues work at an onsite location on fixed, \'anchor\', days of the week, for a minimum of two days a week or more, as set by the business area (or nearest equivalent if working part-time hours). Introduction: The role within BI first line of defence responsible for ensuring effective governance is maintained across key customer processes underpinning controls, to strengthen the control environment. This includes providing control business partnership services to the business which allow for targeted control focussed interventions to fix and/or simplify controls and assurance to ensure that customer needs are met by the process every time, so that BI is able to meet its regulatory & compliance commitments. We are looking to hire an Analyst on a permanent basis in order to support the CCO Markets agenda. The successful candidate is a proven self-starter with the ability to learn complex subject matter quickly, multi-task and adapt to an ever-changing regulatory environment. What will you be doing Candidate is expected to deliver but are not limited to: BAU Support \' Authoritative point of contact for all TM related queries, including regulatory considerations, data requests, interdependent Controls workstreams, infrastructure concerns, etc. \' Support various functional areas e.g., Trading, BM, BIA, Controls Testing, Compliance, Market Risk, Reg Reporting, et. al. \' TM2 mandate information requests that require working alongside the TM IT Team to source bespoke data extracts. \' Trader Mandate SME across the entire \'end-to-end\' control framework. \' Provide technical advice to the Business to ensure they have the knowledge and capability to effectively manage their control requirements with relation to Trader Mandate. \' Proactively identify and work to implement control enhancements. TM2 Application Support \' Field User queries pertaining to TM2 utility, including application functionality, mandate maintenance, Approver designations, etc. \' Coordinate tech remediation efforts of both TM2-specific system failures and broader network issues - be the primary point of contact for the business where there are system issues and coordinate remediation efforts with the TM IT Team Exception Management \' TM Monitoring Team administer the daily exception management process, but envisaged new resource would need to provide input/guidance on mandate exceptions \' Based on their knowledge of the control requirements within the TM Procedure, work alongside the TM Monitoring team in investigating and concluding mandate exceptions, ensuring there is consistent application of the control requirements. \' Where false positive exceptions continuously reoccur, proactively highlight and escalate to the stakeholders to drive remediation efforts, i.e. upstream system data quality issues What we\'re looking for: \' The candidate will be expected to negotiate conversations and commitments with a diverse range of stakeholders, up to and including MD level. The candidate should be able to demonstrate leadership, credibility and gravitas. \' The candidate should have good awareness of relevant Industry Regulators and experience in dealing with Regulatory requests. \' The candidate will be expected to be an effective problem solver able to operate in a fast paced, dynamic environment and deliver solutions. \' Can-do attitude and has experience in delivering change within agreed deadlines. \' Organised with the ability to prioritise and work under pressure, delivering to tight deadlines and multiple demands. \' Mindset of using technology to increase efficiency and improve quality of information. \' The candidate will need to demonstrate well developed insights, analysis and problem solving skills, with the ability to make well-judged decisions based on the analysis of multiple sources of factual and qualitative information in varied complex scenarios.
