Responsibilities/ Duties Participating more in day-to-day software development, drive growth and innovation within a culture of technology, research, development, and engineering functions by facilitating an environment of teamwork and desire to be the best. Build global organizational and talent development capability including succession plans. Ensure the organization is positioned to support growth in emerging markets. Collaborate and partner with Product Management and other organizations to plan and execute projects on an aggressive, and achievable timeline. Drive a culture of continuous process improvement and innovation through leadership skills. Ensure process and culture change and improvise software architecture. Optimize the product and feature roadmap assessing priorities and trade-offs between customer experience, time-to-market, and operational support load. Criteria for the Role! Responsible for the delivery of the promised software (releases) with the defined scope and at the defined time Resource management- periodically review forecast decisions & challenge when more expedient methods are identified. To have the last call on resource conflicts. Technical, organizational, and personnel management of the Software Services business unit Responsible for the definition of the software product roadmap and the ongoing flow of value of the product portfolio with the SW portfolio manager and the product owners Program planning (delivery of multiple, possibly inter-weaving, streams of work) Process definition and oversight (i.e., project management) Team management and project estimation Works with customer success/ product management team to uncover business requirements and identify/implement solutions that will help them achieve their business objectives.
