Introduction: The successful candidate will be responsible for orchestrating the delivery of both Business (HLS & MTP), Regulatory Stress Tests (PRA, CCAR and ICAAP), as well as Internal (IST & RST) Stress Test exercises across a number of Businesses and Accountable Executive areas. The role is to work closely with the P&ST FTC Centres of Excellences, as well as Model Owners and SMEs to not only deliver the Business Plans and Stress Tests, but to enhance current processes, ensuring adherence to the control framework at all times What will you be doing?
Planning and Stress Test BAU processes: Support the end to end P&ST processes, as and when required including:

  • Co-ordinate and Manage the BUK business data load process and coordinate with teams across finance, Risk, FC etc. to procure the FINREP & Non FINREP data set required to load in the system for ACS submission
  • Overall co-ordination with treasury & business teams on data submission timelines
  • Lead the Recs & Vals / Data quality check process/ for all the planning and stress testing cycles ensuring the data delivered to Group Planning / STO meets the required reporting criteria
  • To support or lead other regulatory reporting deliverables supported by the Banking book team
  • The role will focus on supporting Business Units and Functions execution for all P&ST cycles including tracking and status reporting (DQ perspective)
  • Run the control adjustment process across all cycles to ensure governance of the entries posted after the cut off dates and also maintain documentation for future audit requirements
  • Take part or run weekly Business and Accountable Executive (AE) working groups to ensure contributors understand the requirement and delivery timeframe
  • Co-ordinate data collection, validation and analysis, including the review, query and challenge of performance against guidance and targets
What we’re looking for:
  • Master degree (preferably Accounting/Finance) or equivalent years of services
  • Experience in reporting, analysis financial statements, knowledge on balance sheet & risk weighted assets
  • Experience on regulatory reporting is an added advantage
  • Good level of PC skills (Microsoft suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Working knowledge of Alteryx, Tableau, Qliksense, will be help drive process reengineering
  • Effective communication skills

  • Big 4/FTSE 100/Management Consultancy background
  • Broad knowledge of all banking products, business flows and technologies
  • Appreciation of current / future changes in the Regulatory environment that are / will impact the bank’s planning processes and requirements
  • Good understanding and experience of regulatory capital and stress testing requirements
