Hybrid Working Structured Hybrid Role At Barclays, we offer a hybrid working experience that blends the positives of working alongside colleagues at our onsite locations, together with working from home. We have a structured approach where colleagues work at an onsite location on fixed, \'anchor\', days of the week, for a minimum of two days a week or more, as set by the business area (or nearest equivalent if working part-time hours). Introduction The role will report into the Head of Governance & Engagement and will primarily be responsible for supporting the delivery of core activities within the Governance and Engagement Team. This supports the Group Head of Model Risk Management in articulating and governing the key model risks across the firm. What will you be doing The role holder will support the Governance & Engagement team to deliver the the following duties and responsibilities: Model Risk Reporting: Support with the oversight and delivery of governance reporting for MRM and non-MRM meetings Support with the oversight and delivery of BCBS239 activities for in-scope reports Support with the effective operation, management and enhancement of the Model Risk governance framework Model Risk Engagement: Production of the weekly roadmap which signposts to management the key governance meetings and agendas Maintenance of the Action Log tracker, which tracks key actions from MRM and non-MRM governance forums through to completion Support the agenda setting process, which defines the core risk management topics for MRM and non-MRM governance forums Maintenance of presentations including induction decks and governance structures Support the delivery of quarterly MRM Independent Validation Unit training and the expansion of the training remit Other: Support continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen the overall governance, reporting and engagement framework Support with Model Risk Governance and Engagement related queries and requests Support the wider Group Model Risk Governance and MRM team, as and when required on ad-hoc deliverables and analytics What We\'re Looking For Experience of operating within a Risk and/or Control environment Experience of operating within a reporting and/or governance environment An ability to effectively review, synthesise and interrogate data/information High quality verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at various levels of seniority A team player who is comfortable working in a dynamic environment and with a variety of stakeholders at various levels of seniority Ability to manage multiple deliverables in parallel, prioritise these accordingly and meet their associated deadlines Highly organised and proactive, with excellent attention to detail Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite Skills That Will Help You In The Role An understanding of the Barclays organisation structure Preferred qualifications - CA, MBA, or Engineering.
