Scope of the role To own Growth, Unit economics and CX for Metro Cities and Tier 1 cities in India Responsibilities . Tier 1 (Regional) Strategy for Business Growth . Work with National Head to understand & influence the India one strategy and jointly decide for the Regional level strategy and business objectives for the organization as per AOP & QOP and cascade it down to Cluster teams in Region for implementation . Plan for the growth of business in the region by restaurant discovery, smart pricing, discounting and maximization of events. . Identify new market opportunities, Marketing Inputs in the Product Life Cycle and boost revenue through Ads sales. . Develop growth/UE/CX strategies for the various clusters in the Region in alignment with National business plans and drive key business metrics and own P&L for the region . Ensure new cities in the Region are launched as per project plan and closely oversee operations . Gather business intelligence, marketplace knowledge and data to value add , customize and improvise on National strategies and design most suitable local marketing strategies and growth plans for the Regional team . Regional Performance . Track and monitor key metrics and growth parameters such as OPD, productivity, conversions, traffic, new customers, repeat, etc on a periodic basis . Analyse data to identify patterns and trends, compare Regional year-on-year performance and implement best practices identified across the region if suitable . Gain insights into local nuances and prepare for festivals, rains, political rallies / elections, holidays and other Regional specific events that may impact Regional operations considerably . Driving key ops metrics and projects to get a balance between consistent availability/serviceability, great delivery times & CX, fleet efficiency and delivery executive earnings, with the cost constraints as needed . Build relationships with key restaurant partners to drive Regional growth and competitive advantage . Team Management . Build a high performance team culture with engaged and motivated employees . Develop Regional teams by managing conflicts, providing developmental inputs on individual basis, motivating and engaging people as well as ensuring quality of hiring . Working with the Cluster Heads to help them build strategic thinking and plans for their cities . Set up functional leadership supply, growth, ops in the region for success . Working with Cluster functional leaders to be groomed towards RH or central roles, identifying and developing the necessary competencies for their career path . Stakeholder Management . Engage with National supply and Operations heads and National growth managers on a regular basis to govern Regional performance and implementation of central strategy . Collaborate with marketing team and local Marketing executives to drive marketing campaigns as well as analytics team for gathering data on various measures . Manage communications with external stakeholders such as local vendors, government authorities and restaurant partners to build relations and facilitate growth . Liason with internal teams such as business performance and planning team, ops, marketing and supply to ensure alignment of business priorities and report progress on periodic basis review Regional performance and ensure closure of MOP items for the Regional Who will be an ideal candidate Someone who . Is obsessed about the consumer and is passionate about solving for consumer problems in the space of convenience . Is data driven, knows how to conceive & build zero to one projects from scratch . Is iterative, has zero fear of failure and is resilient . Is a big thinker and is dispassionate about ideas but obsesses about solving problems . Has the experience of having built zero to one projects in the past . Can influence without authority (sell ideas, influence roadmaps, shape experiments) . Can put the team first always . Has mentored and coached team members in the past . Experience: 12-15 years with strong experience of growing businesses in a region
