Organizational Overview:-
This Org is aligned to Branding, Communication and E&I portfolio. The E&I team is responsible for orchestrating large format events which impact the entire Synchrony India employee base, both virtually and in-person.
Role Summary/Purpose:
We are looking for an experienced E&I and Logistics Manager to orchestrate excellent event / engagement experience. You will be responsible for engaging employees of Synchrony in a virtual engagement (Hybrid Model) environment. The Candidate should be able to understand the nature of the event / requirement, build / develop content for the requirement for the event, plan the overall virtual event and engage the audience of synchrony at various opportunities. In addition, this candidate will play a pivotal role in managing large in-person events across the India hubs.
Aspirant applying for this role must be well-organized and competent in creating virtual engagement activities, manage vendor for such requirements, organizing successful virtual events with an edge in project management skills. Communication skills, attention to detail and an excellent multi-task master will set apart the best among the candidates. Key Responsibilities:
Build and Manage Virtual engagement content
Primary content to focus on fun, engaging, and employee centric content with an added focus on well being, and community events
Expertise working with and negotiating with vendors is a plus
Manage all aspects of Phygital event planning meeting strict deadlines and budget demands
Ensure to meet all internal compliances as per the sourcing process and audit requirements
Provides various gifting for our Regional Hubs and all employees across all our regional Hubs.
Drive Engagement in our engagement hubs in Delhi (North Hub), Maharashtra (West Hub), Bangalore (South Hub), Kolkata (East) and Hyderabad (Central Hub)
Nurture and build relationships with vendors, venues, and other industry contacts to craft and implement creative and logistical aspects of all events.
Stay current, and often ahead of the curve, on event planning, design, and production trends, proactively identifying and solving operational challenges.
Should possess strong negotiation skills to improve process ideation and driving concept.
Experience of coordinating with multiple internal and external stakeholders like facilities, security, legal, compliance, sourcing, Internal Systems and FP&A.
Task master with strong project management skills.
Establish standard procedures and train staff to execute them
Comply with legal, health and safety regulations always.
Ability to work unsupervised, timeline driven with zero compromise of employee experience.
Confident individual able to always demonstrate utmost discretion and professionalism.
A strong team player who is committed and enthusiastic in approach and has flexible attitude towards working hours given the short timelines associated with projects.
Ability to priorities workload
Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
This is a full time role and working from Hub is optional but mandatory for all events and the duration of planning of the event the candidate must work from respective Hub location and /or from Central hub location for Physical events based out of hyderabad whichever is of high priority and importance to respective event projects.
Required Skills/Knowledge:
Bachelor's degree in event management/related discipline with 2 to 3 years of experience in Virtual event management field coupled with 2 years of experience in core events and planning field or in lieu of a degree; 4 to 5 years of experience in Virtual event management field coupled with 4 years of experience in core events and planning field
1 to 2 years of experience working in an IT/ITeS job equivalent to an event management, employee engagement and employee experience role.
Proficient with the Event Management System and/or registration tool/application and event logistics
Proficiency in MS Office is a must.
Flexibility to work in different shifts (preferably in US timings)
Demonstrated experience in managing/ hosting large company events such as Synergy and Family Day with a footfall of over 2000 employees
Desired Skills/Knowledge:
Strong skills in engaging large groups of employees, and hosting/MC'ing such events
Knowledge of virtual tool for engagement in events is an added advantage.
Preferably from ITES Industry
Proficiency in verbal and written communication (English)
Eligibility Criteria
Bachelor's degree in event management/related discipline with 2 to 3 years of experience in Virtual event management field coupled with 2 years of experience in core events and planning field or in lieu of a degree; 4 to 5 years of experience in Virtual event management field coupled with 4 years of experience in core events and planning field

Proficient with the Event Management System and/or registration tool/application and event logistics
Work Timings: 03:00 PM to 12:00 AM (IST) (Should be willing to work in Flexible Shifts)
