Organizational Overview: The Bank Configuration team is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the core capabilities on the Fiserv platform. The team configures and integrates servicing workflows, product rules, customer correspondence, and controls to ensure seamless, compliant, and scalable bank operations. They partners closely with operations, legal, compliance, and technology teams to support and implement changes.
Role Summary/Purpose:
The AVP, Consumer Bank Configuration Management candidate will implement technology solutions in a cost-effective way by determining/managing the requirements of the core banking platform, and communicating them clearly to stakeholders, facilitators, and partners. This role will require collaboration with business, IT Teams and vendors for researching, developing and implementing configuration solutions to the Fiserv applications.

Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate daily Kanban standups, track work-in-progress, and ensure timely delivery of configuration changes.
Collaborate closely with Business and Testing teams to prioritize, clarify, and implement business requirements on the Fiserv platform.
Manage and optimize the Kanban board to visualize workflow, identify bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement.
Monitor metrics like cycle time and throughput to improve team efficiency and ensure quality delivery.
Communicate progress, risks, and blockers to stakeholders and escalate issues as needed.
Support the Configuration team in adhering to process standards while enabling flexibility for agile adaptation.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's degree with a minimum 3 years of experience in Information Technology OR In lieu of degree, a High School Diploma/GED and minimum of 5 years of experience in Information Technology.
Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated understanding of development methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.
Minimum of 2 years of experience generating screen mockups or visualization of requirements and process maps.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in software development to include all phases of the software development lifecycle.
Desired Characteristics:
Strong facilitation and communication skills to effectively lead daily standups and collaborate across diverse teams.
Solid understanding of Kanban principles and experience applying them in a technical/configuration environment.
Familiarity with the Fiserv platform a plus.
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify and remove workflow impediments proactively.
Detail-oriented and organized, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
Team player with a collaborative attitude and a focus on continuous process improvement.
Eligibility Criteria :
Bachelor's degree with a minimum 3 years of experience in Information Technology OR In lieu of degree, a High School Diploma/GED and minimum of 5 years of experience in Information Technology.
Work Timings: 9 AM to 5 PM EST
This role qualifies for Enhanced Flexibility offered in Synchrony India and will require the incumbent to be available between 06:00 AM Eastern Time - 11:30 AM Eastern Time (timings are anchored to US Eastern hours and will adjust twice a year locally). This window is for meetings with India and US teams. The remaining hours will be flexible for the employee to choose. Exceptions may apply periodically due to business needs)

As directed by the management, you will be required to commute or travel to Hyderabad or one of the Regional Engagement Hubs for in-person engagement activities such as business/ team meetings, trainings, and events.
