Responsible for overseeing Global Accounts payable team in the procure to pay process and it's metric reporting.
Direct and review the daily operations of a high-volume accounts payable department. Ensures accurate and timely execution of transactions for PO, and Non-PO invoicing.
Ensure all tasks related to payments - Processing, checking, paycycles, manual payments, reconciliations etc. are caried out in a timely manner
Managing the assigned tasks professionally and efficiently as per the Service Level Agreement (SLA) & Department operating instructions (DOI)
Ensuring that an effective system of financial and operational controls is in place and is working as intended to ensure the accuracy of our vendor and financial records.
Effectively handle change management post migration of new processes from onshore (from design to delivery) and the change in the organization structure. Manage and escalate risks arising out of transition of new processes.
To be Responsive to the needs of the Stake-holders at all times, effective and regular communication to be maintained. Trouble shoot any urgent situations along with the team to avoid any service disruptions.
Monitoring to ensure that the standards of customer service provided by the function consistently meet or exceed the requirements set under the Service Level Agreements agreed with the customers.
Drive process standardization and best practice sharing across all team. Drive modular thinking around processes that runs on process based organization.
Participate and support in all Global finance initiatives as launched from time to time (viz., Controls, Reengineering, Training etc.,)
Prepare Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports monthly. Generate periodic standard AP Reports including Tops (spend, countries, vendors), Exp/Invoice utilization
Look for ways and means for continuously promoting forums for employee engagements. Encourage employees on their creativity, learning & development and bring some fun at work.
Ensuring total Customer Satisfaction by providing quality service that is error free and timely
Ensuring that a continuous process and efficiency improvement culture is embedded within the function and an established process exists to constantly identify and implement improvement opportunities.
Work with HR for recruitment, right skilling, compensation survey and attrition management for the unit. Ensure the right talent is attracted and retained for all key roles.
Ensure robust KRI/KCS controls and checks are in place to manage operational risks in GFS. Ensure the major activities and processes are well documented and that a robust BCP plan is in place. Facilitate tests on periodic basis and provide adequate support to the Department Continuity Co-ordinator.
Drive continuous improvements and deliver on annual productivity / cost save targets
