- Avaloq Testers (Beginner to Expert Level)

Key Responsibilities

Perform

end-to-end testing

of Avaloq Core Banking System modules. Review and analyze

business requirements, functional specifications, and technical designs

. Prepare and execute

test plans, test cases, and test data

for Avaloq modules. Conduct

regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT)

. Collaborate with

business analysts, developers, and release managers

to identify and resolve defects. Ensure

test coverage, traceability, and documentation

as per QA standards. Report defects using tools like

JIRA, HP ALM, or Zephyr

, and track until closure. Work closely with

Avaloq parameterization

and

change request validation

. Participate in

test automation initiatives

and continuous improvement of QA processes.

Mandatory Skills

Avaloq Core Platform testing experience

(any module: Payments, Securities, CRM, Accounting, etc.)

Banking/Financial Domain

experience - especially in Core Banking, Payments, or Wealth Management Strong knowledge of

SDLC & STLC

methodologies Hands-on experience with

Test Management tools

(JIRA, HP ALM, Zephyr, Xray, etc.) Experience in

Functional, Regression, and Integration Testing

Basic understanding of

Avaloq scripting and parameterization

Proficiency in

SQL/PL-SQL

for backend validation and data verification Understanding of

API testing

using tools like Postman or SOAP UI Excellent

defect management and documentation

skills Strong

analytical, communication, and stakeholder collaboration

skills

Good-to-Have Skills

Experience in

test automation

(Selenium, Tosca, or other frameworks) Knowledge of

Agile/Scrum methodologies

Familiarity with

Unix/Linux commands

Exposure to

CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools

(Jenkins, Git) Certification in

ISTQB

or

Avaloq Certified Professional
