to support the setup, installation, testing, and maintenance of audio-visual equipment for project-based assignments. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in AV integration, troubleshooting, and commissioning at client sites, ensuring timely and quality execution of AV installations.
Key Responsibilities:
Install and configure audio-visual equipment such as projectors, video walls, speakers, microphones, amplifiers, displays, and control systems (e.g., Crestron, AMX, Extron).
Read and interpret AV system schematics, layout drawings, and project plans.
Execute cable pulling, termination (HDMI, VGA, CAT6, audio, fiber), and testing.
Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and clients for on-site work execution.
Conduct on-site testing and commissioning of AV systems.
Identify and troubleshoot AV issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
Ensure all work is completed according to safety regulations and project timelines.
Maintain accurate documentation of installations, configurations, and service records.
Provide technical support and training to end users when needed.
Maintain tools, inventory, and AV equipment in good working condition.
Key Skills & Requirements:
Proven experience as an AV technician or in a similar role (minimum 2-4 years preferred).
Strong knowledge of AV systems (audio, video, control) and integration standards.
Familiarity with brands like Crestron, Extron, AMX, Biamp, Shure, Poly, Cisco, etc.
Ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
