to manage and operate audio-visual equipment during events, meetings, and day-to-day operations. The role involves setting up, testing, and operating AV systems to ensure seamless sound, video, and projection experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and troubleshoot AV equipment (projectors, microphones, speakers, video conferencing systems, LED walls, mixers, etc.).
Provide live technical support during meetings, conferences, webinars, and events.
Ensure proper sound quality, video clarity, and lighting adjustments as required.
Coordinate with event organizers, technical teams, and IT staff for smooth AV operations.
Conduct routine maintenance and testing of AV systems to ensure functionality.
Maintain inventory of AV equipment and accessories; report faults and arrange repairs.
Assist in installation and configuration of new AV systems as per requirements.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper handling of AV equipment.
Document event requirements, equipment usage, and any technical issues encountered.
Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Electronics, IT, Media Technology, or related field.
1-3 years of experience as an AV Operator or Technician.
Hands-on knowledge of AV systems, sound mixers, projectors, video conferencing platforms (Zoom, MS Teams, Cisco Webex), and LED displays.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills under time constraints.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and extended hours depending on events.
Preferred:
Experience in corporate AV setups, hospitality, or event management.
Familiarity with streaming/recording software (OBS, vMix, Wirecast).
Knowledge of basic IT networking related to AV systems.
