The Engineer for Audio Visual (AV) Service & Maintenance will be responsible for the operation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of AV systems across various client sites. This role involves ensuring the smooth functionality of all AV equipment, responding to service requests, coordinating with clients and vendors, and maintaining high standards of system performance. The engineer will also oversee routine inspections, manage maintenance schedules, and ensure quick resolution of technical issues to minimize downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform regular preventive maintenance, inspection, and testing of AV systems to ensure optimal performance.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to AV equipment, including displays, projectors, microphones, speakers, video conferencing systems, and control systems.
Respond to client service requests, troubleshoot problems, and provide timely solutions.
Maintain accurate service logs, maintenance reports, and equipment records.
Ensure compliance with company quality standards and client-specific service-level agreements (SLAs).
Provide remote and on-site technical support as required.
Stay updated with the latest AV technologies, tools, and industry practices.
Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Electronics, Electrical, IT, or related field.
3+ years of experience in AV systems service, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience with AV equipment, control systems, video conferencing solutions, and signal distribution.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and vendors.
Willingness to travel to client sites when required.
