Job Description

Position Summary:


The Senior Engineer for Audio Visual (AV) Works will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, installation, and maintenance of AV systems at project. This role includes ensuring the integration and functionality of AV equipment, coordinating with project teams and vendors, and managing timelines, budgets, and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:


1. Project Planning and Coordination Develop project plans for AV system installations, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients to determine AV requirements and ensure alignment with overall project specifications. Conduct site assessments and create AV designs based on specific project needs and space configurations.
2. System Design and Engineering Design and engineer AV systems that include video conferencing, sound systems, digital displays, control systems, and related equipment. Create detailed schematics and layouts using CAD or similar software, specifying wiring, equipment placement, and network connectivity. Ensure systems are designed for scalability, functionality, and reliability.
3. Installation and Integration Supervise and manage the installation of AV equipment, ensuring adherence to project specifications and quality standards. Oversee AV integration with other systems, including IT and lighting controls, and troubleshoot technical issues as they arise. Conduct system testing to confirm performance and make necessary adjustments for optimal functionality.
4. Team Leadership and Mentorship Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and technicians, ensuring adherence to safety and installation best practices. Coordinate and schedule work with internal teams and external subcontractors to maintain project timelines. Facilitate training sessions for team members on new AV technologies and installation techniques.
5. Client and Stakeholder Engagement

Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the AV installation process, addressing inquiries and ensuring satisfaction. Conduct on-site demonstrations for clients, explaining system functionality and addressing operational concerns. Prepare and present project progress reports and technical documentation to stakeholders.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Audio Engineering, or related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 3-7 years of experience in AV systems design, integration, and installation.

Technical Skills:

AV control systems (Crestron, AMX), and sound systems, Conferencing System.

Soft Skills:

Strong communication, problem-solving, and project management abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?45,000.00 per month
