Role Overview

We are hiring an

AV Editor (Audio-Video Editor)

who can handle complete editing and sound workflows. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in editing ads, short films, web series, corporate videos, and social media reels, along with proper sound design and SFX work.

Key Responsibilities

Video Editing

Edit ads, short films, web series, corporate videos, and social media content Sync footage, build clean timelines, and maintain project structure Add transitions, text, titles, lower thirds, and basic VFX Perform basic to intermediate colour grading Export content in multiple aspect ratios (16:9, 9:16, 1:1)
Sound Design & SFX

Clean audio using EQ, compression, and noise reduction Add and mix SFX, ambience, Foley, and background score Maintain proper audio balance for dialogues, VO, and music Deliver broadcast-ready audio output for ads and videos
Multi-Format Editing

Work on content for:

Web series Short films Ads and commercials Corporate videos YouTube content Reels and social campaigns
Design Support

Create simple posters, thumbnails, and title cards when required Assist the creative team with visual layouts

Skills & Software Knowledge

DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere Pro Fairlight or Adobe Audition for sound design Basic knowledge of After Effects (added advantage) Understanding of colour correction and grading Good storytelling, pacing, and visual sense Experience working in an agency-style fast-paced workflow

Must-Have Requirements

Minimum 1 year experience in a media or ad agency Must own a laptop capable of video editing and audio work Based in Kochi or willing to relocate Must be comfortable with travelling for shoots and outdoor projects Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Strong communication and team coordination skills
