Job Description

The GIMS (Goodyear Intelligent Mobility Solutions) Systems Integration Team is seeking a talented and motivated Automotive Systems Requirements Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in defining and managing system requirements for automotive projects, collaborating closely with software and hardware teams, and conducting gap analysis in partnership with OEMs (original equipment manufacturers).

Responsibilities:

Define and document system requirements for automotive projects, ensuring clarity, completeness, and traceability. Utilize Polarion or similar tools for requirements management, maintaining an organized and accessible repository for all project stakeholders. Work closely with software and hardware engineering teams to understand technical constraints, dependencies, and design considerations. Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on requirements and design decisions. Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation of requirements, design decisions, and change requests Ensure that all defined requirements adhere to industry standards and regulatory guidelines. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the requirements engineering process by identifying opportunities for optimization and efficiency. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to incorporate best practices into the requirements engineering process.

Skills & Experience Required:

Education: Bachelor's degree in embedded systems, electrical engineering, or a related field, required. Master's degree desired. Experience:

Minimum of 5+ years' experience with 3+ years of experience in automotive requirements engineering

utilizing tools like Polarion for effective requirements management

Knowledge of s
