Designation: Manager - Business Development
Department: Sales and Business Development
Role Purpose: The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying sales leads, pitching products and services to new clients, and maintaining strong working relationships with both new and existing customers.

Vice President - Business Development (Hyundai / KIA)
Key Responsibilities
Develop strong understanding of all products offered by the division
Acquire new clients through direct contact, referrals, and collaboration with the sales team
Attend networking events to identify and engage prospective clients
Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers to ensure retention
Work with senior leadership to identify and mitigate business risks
Prepare business proposals and contracts to drive revenue growth
Identify decision-makers within target accounts and initiate sales processes
Penetrate target accounts and maximize revenue from existing clients
Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and negotiations
Negotiate commercial terms to secure competitive pricing
Coordinate with HR to identify technical skill requirements supporting sales
Capture customer feedback and implement improvements
Support marketing initiatives such as trade shows and exhibitions
Maintain and update customer data in the corporate database
Foster a collaborative and cross-functional working environment

Role Requirements
Educational Qualifications: Engineering Graduate and/or MBA in Marketing / Sales
Experience
12-15 years of experience in Sales / Business Development
Experience in Automotive Tier-1 companies
Preferred exposure to Stampings, BIW, or Chassis business
Experience dealing with Passenger Vehicle OEMs in India
Ability to communicate in English and local language
Technical Skills
Knowledge of product costing and manufacturing processes
Experience handling major OEM accounts
Proficiency in English and regional language
Knowledge of Korean is an added advantage
