Job Summary:

This role is in Accenture Research's Automotive Industry Research Team, which is focused on advancing and helping automakers, incumbents, or young start-ups transform and activate the future of mobility.


The Research Specialist will work closely with the Automotive Industry Research Lead covering topics including

industry trends, services supply/demand/prices, the transition towards circularity as well as the business-critical transition towards digitization for Automotive OEMs

. They will support thought leadership projects, industry point of views as well as client-facing research projects globally.


A sound knowledge of

Automotive

industry is required. However, the willingness to broaden and deepen the industry knowledge to develop real expertise in Automotive is critically important.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Assists and supports the development of thought-provoking insights through market analysis and in-depth review of trends, guided by the Research lead Draw on both traditional and innovative data sources and research methodologies to explore the key questions in a logical, structured manner Understand and audit the data Analyze, visualize, and interpret data from multiple sources Update our proprietary in-house models and provides results to the practice when needed Build dashboards and insightful visualization using BI tools like Power BI/Qlik May contribute to articles/blogs/thought pieces through Accenture's publication channels and other channels.

Professional & Technical Skills:

"Hard" skills:

Experience in analyzing the Automotive industry A basic understanding of the role of digital and technology in disrupting Automotive industry Track record in research and data analytics and strong analytical skills An understanding of financial reports, accounting and valuation Experience in packaging, synthesizing and presenting research deliverables Strong PowerPoint, Excel and Word skills and first experience with statistical software (e.g. R, Stata, Python, SPSS); knowledge of visualization tools e.g. PowerBI is a plus Expertise in secondary information sources and data gathering Comfortable using proprietary GenAI based tools for research

Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree, preferably in business, engineering, or science. A full-time master's/post-graduate degree/qualification in business, engineering, science, such as business (MBA), economics or equivalent.

Work Experience:

5-8 years of business experience, preferably in a Global/large private corporation or institution involved in Automotive and/or Rail & Transit business, a consulting environment, a market research firm, a think tank, or other third-party research organization.

Location:

Bengaluru (preferred) or Gurugram, India

Preferred start date:

As soon as possible .
