We are seeking a talented
CAD Design Engineer
with
3-4 years of experience
to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with 3D design tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and develop automotive component and assembly designs using 3D CAD tools (NX, CATIA, SolidWorks, PolyWorks).
Perform part modeling, surface modeling, detailing, and design documentation following industry standards.
Collaborate effectively with PLM/PDM teams to manage product data within Teamcenter.
Utilize PolyWorks and other engineering design tools for inspection data interpretation and geometry analysis.
Support technical design reviews, change requests, and engineering updates.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless design hand-off.
Participate in design validation and optimization efforts.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
3-4 years of experience
in automotive component design engineering.
Proficiency in
NX, CATIA, PolyWorks and SolidWorks
for 3D CAD design.
Understanding of engineering design principles, GD&T, tolerance analysis, and best practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and clear communication.
Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
